if you've read previous posts, you know a little bit about the whyman project. we had this big 2-day recording session back in may and, after all the hard work on the part of the musicians and the technicians, we have finally released our first music video!
now, we realize "let it go" is old, overrated, over played, etc. but we loved ryan's arrangement of it so much that we decided to record it anyways.
we were lucky to have a great sound engineer and videographer on hand to make this happen for us. they did an amazing job.
playing with the whymanettes / whymaniacs / what have you, is always a treat. these musicians are some of the most talented, hard working, and wonderful friends i've had the pleasure to work with. as you can see from our rose petal photo, we love to goof off and have a good time. as much as we are all about playing excellent music, we realize that music is entertainment and we get to have fun! i mean, we picked the best profession: playing beautiful music in an air-conditioned room all day with people you love.
stay tuned every friday for the next 5 weeks to see the release of a new video off our new album. and without further ado, the whyman project in "let it go":
