the stories of a los angeles violinist

mockingjay

Added on by Jordan Martone.

sometimes you write up a beautiful blog post and feel proud of yourself and then the internet decides to poop out on you for no good earthly reason and you lose everything you just worked so hard on.

i'll try to make this post as good as the last version of this post… oy.

this week was big for joe. he was hired to play and contract for the hunger games: mockingjay part 2. and he was fantastic.

luckily, i got to come along to the after party. this time around, i didn't accidentally sit on liam hemsworth's reserved couch. (embarrassing)

i got to bring my long lost friend, kelly, with me. and we did what two girls at a free party with free food and free booze would naturally do. that on top of watching my husband dress up in costumes from the movie to play battle drums for the guests, it was an awesome night.

living in LA is a weird experience. it's not for everyone. the people are entitled and rude and the work is hard and few and far between. but when you find your niche, and you find good people, you remember why this city is great. it's a city of dreams, opportunities, loads of sunshine, and seeing life through a new view-finder. it's hard. it's fun. it's weird. i love it.

very proud of my hard-working husband right now. and very glad to have good people in my life, because no life is worth living if it's not a good life.
