usually each year i get very creative with gift tags. i prefer to make them myself instead of purchasing them. in years past i've used paper art and even sewing. this year, i've been messing around with creating personalized stickers (for my planner. that's an embarrassing story for another day.) so i thought, "why not make my own sticker gift tags?" they turned out to be quite cute. i just used glossy sticker paper and designed them using numbers on my mac (of all programs).
we have visited my family a few times this month and this tree gets me every time. mom calls it the caffeinated tree, featuring the controversial starbucks red cups. it makes my whimsical heart happy.
my middle school behinners were killing it on pajama day, their last day of school before winter break. we had to capture the moment.
joe and i took our annual trip to disneyland. we were both extremely tired from a late night in lancaster, and it poured rain during the fireworks, but we both agree that it made for a wonderful day at the park.
joe and i decorated sugar cookies. am i the only one that thinks it's not christmas until you've decorated cookies? no? just me? joe and i learned a very valuable marriage lesson during this process. i'm an icing-piper and joe is an icing spreader. these are the serious topics in life, people.
and lastly, it's christmas eve-eve! this is the traditional eve-eve picture of my sister and i performing "sisters" from white christmas. (back when i was still taller than her!) yes, kids, i have some theatrical experience under my belt. but not as much as the cutie next to me. (by the way, we just got news that kenna is graduating high school early in january. yay, sister!)
merry christmas, everyone! i have some very exciting news to announce tomorrow in the vlog and here on the blog, so be sure to check back tomorrow! i hope you've wrapped all your presents with big gold bows and that the holiday traffic is in your favor. eat a piece of fudge for me.
