the stories of a los angeles violinist

succulents

Added on by Jordan Martone.

i'm slowly but surely starting my journey towards becoming a crazy plant lady. i've discovered the kinds of plants that i can actually manage to keep alive and it's started a frenzy.

my creepy wooden deer… i'm not sure what to do with that thing. it was a gift from a student and i get a bit of an audrey vibe from it… but maybe i'm going in the entirely wrong direction? i'm pretty sure that joe is a little creeped by it too.

succulents are wonderful. if you get the right kind, they hardly require any watering and all they really need is sunlight. i place them in cute pots or containers and sit them in the windowsill. they love it there, i love them there, it's a beautiful relationship.

natalie holbrook is the ultimate crazy plant lady. i positively adore her, as she runs my most favorite blog in the world. and her 4-year old baby boy huck is the coolest. and if she can keep all those plants alive in the snowy winters of new york, I can do the same in sunny LA.

happy monday to you all.
