Added on by Jordan Martone.

last week, i turned 22 and was gifted with a plethora of plants.

yep. my mom and joe's mom both gave me plants in pots for my birthday. i love it.

my moms even gave me two of the exact same plant: the pink cacti. the hilarity is real.

for my 22nd birthday, i had tea at the tea gardens with my mom and sister, an annual birthday tradition for us. hot tea, scones, finger sandwiches, petit fours... happiness. then, i had to go back to school to attend my last string pedagogy class. after i burst out the doors to a triumphant burst of thunder and lightning,  joe picked me up and took me to nobu for my birthday dinner. he spoiled me with a new kate spade passport wallet for our honeymoon (*all hail kate*) and the perfume i've had my eye on.

turns out, graduating, having a birthday, and getting married all within a 2-month time span really confuses people. sorry, guys!

this week has been nothing but fruit salad, coffee, re-potting plants, the bachelorette (oy), teaching, and sleeping in. post-grad life is winning so far. and it's nice to be able to tell people that i have recording sessions and jobs coming up when they ask me what i'm doing now that i've graduated. i'm thankful for friends who hire me.

also, guess i should change my blog bio from "college student" to "college grad". ha!
