joe and i went shoe shopping. every other time we've purchased nikes, we've gone to the camarillo outlet nike store, where we've found decent discounted sneaks before. however, we decided that it was time to do our research and purchase a shoe that will actually help us with our new workout goals.
i am the new, proud owner of these babes! i chose them for their support. they're best for long distance and endurance running, as opposed to short sprints which my old nikes where designed for. i already love them and do not anticipate needing to utilize the 30-day return policy here.
love this. it's so divergent! come on!
i have this thing with sports bras where i can't have a large covering on my back as i work out. i need either skinny straps or an open back for optimal skin health.
i love all the strappy things! also, can you tell i have a color-scheme going on? i just like what i like, unapologetically.
i need to upgrade my support leggings and these would be perfect. i like the mesh peep-panels on the sides. i like to use leggings like these for not only working out, but they make for great active wear when i'm out and about gigging, teaching, etc. i prefer them with a nice crop top. it's the all-around legging. and again, divergent.
i've come to the conclusion that fall/winter is my most favorite time of the year. i just love outerwear. this pullover in particular is the perfect mix between functional and modern design, which appeals greatly to me in the colder months. and snuggling up by the fireplace while watching the holiday just always sounds nice. it's july and i'm already craving christmas, oy.
joe and i live in a wonderful area down here in LA. we're right on the edge between woodland hills and canoga park, at little place called the warner center. but since we're on the edge, a walk around the block means the 1st half of the walk is of beautiful warner center and the 2nd half is through sketchy canoga park. basically, i don't walk by myself anywhere. but our new favorite thing is an evening walk after we're home from work or an early morning walk to the jamba juice a mile away.
we are both incredibly interested in getting into running. my bad knees keep me from being a successful runner, so i'm starting small with lots of yoga, stretching, and training on the elliptical. joe is much cooler than i. he runs a mile to the gym, works out at the gym, then runs back. that's my goal. baby steps... baby steps...
happy thursday, all! it's almost the weekend! hope you find some fitspiration of your own from this little post even though, lets be real, this is a personal wishlist... an personal, inspiring wishlist.
