the stories of a los angeles violinist

2017, i already love ya

Added on by Jordan Martone.

i have mixed feelings about 2016. it wasn't the worst, but it wasn't the best. it's kind of hard to top the spectacular year i had last year (graduating, marriage, ya know.)

so here's my recap of 2016:

according to instagram, these were my most-liked photos this year ^ but here are some of my personally most-liked photos this year:

at the top of the eiffel tower with my husband.

i started a highly successful etsy sticker business! (jamstickershop) where i get to share my art and make new friends all around the world.

a drastically different (for me) hairstyle

visiting the land of my childhood dreams: the wizarding world of harry potter!

a new purchase and a new adventure: my electric lady

playing with sarah chang and the hollywood chamber orchestra

numerous violin performances and recordings. steps closer to my dream.

my first vote ever

that jazz big band album that joe & i played on? it's now a grammy nominated album! we are so buying the nomination certificate and putting it in a frame on the wall!

two trips to NYC, one planned, one unexpected.

i think my biggest accomplishment of 2016 was internal. i did a lot of growing and mending and learning, personally. i'm learning who i am as a young woman, as a daughter, and as a musician.

i like who i am this year.

that's special to me.

i like who i am.

i'm welcoming 2017 with open arms. it's already full of exciting opportunities and travel and i'm ready for it.

2017, i already love ya.
